Patchwork
Pieces for 5 to 8 dancers
Estelle Danvers – Choreographer
Laëtitia Antonin – Assistant
The Company's first creation brings together several short pieces: BeBach, Retro, Les Indes Galantes, from different universes.
Patchwork is like life, made of significant, changing moments, like the multiple facets of its choreographer and will form a mosaic of fragments of life.
RETRO
When a song or the sound of the accordion revives happy memories as well as regrets... Lightness is sometimes feigned, sometimes shared. Seriousness surfaces and recedes according to human exchanges. Words have their musicality which attracts dance, nourishes movement.
The duality between silence and words weaves a communication that is by turns sensual, exalted, playful or even bitter.
KENAVO
Estelle choreographs the emotions that Brittany of her childhood arouses in her, at the crossroads of her memories as a little girl and her adult life. Estelle addresses the paradox of Breton women, confronted with the absence of their men and the paradox of rejoicing in their return and also dreading it, because it is synonymous with habits to be found again, seduction to be renewed.

THE DECEASED
Are the dead really dead? These are dead people who are not finished, who do not see what death has changed, they are almost facetious, almost too well.
And on the other hand? The living?.....
Outside of time, six characters in search of... a different vision of before and after.

THE GALLANT INDIES
Man is a social animal. Each one follows his path alongside the others, crossing paths and rubbing shoulders with them. All participate in an overall image where each one is special and at the same time similar. A metaphor for a human society, the dancers express their individuality while slipping into the group.
They dance with great pleasure, with no other concern than the sharing and the complicity that is created between them.
